Hanes Park

Hanes Park is located just across the street from the main YMCA at the corner of Hawthorne and Glade Streets at 775 West End Blvd. 

Kernodle Middle School

From Downtown Greensboro: Take Bryan Blvd. heading north. Get off at the New Garden exit. Stay Straight thru the light. Continue on Horse Pen Creek Rd. for 1.5 miles. Turn Right on Drawbridge Rd. (first light). Turn Left into second parking lot and park behind the school. Look for the lights, and we will see you on the fields!

From Battleground Ave. heading north from downtown: Go north past Holden and Cone, past Pisgah Church Road, past Westridge, past New Garden, past Cotswold.Take a left on Drawbridge Parkway (a KFC is just past the light).Kernodle Middle School is about a mile on your right (past a couple of apartment complexes and a retirement village, where I'll be finding myself very soon!) Park in the back of the lot, behind the school, and look for the lights.

FROM Winston: Take 40 East and continue past exit 210 (the exit you used to take) and take the 2nd exit after that. I'm not sure the number but it is for "Bryan Blvd" and/or the Airport. Follow this road to Bryan Blvd and exit toward downtown Greensboro (not toward the airport) Take the New Garden Exit LEFT New Garden Rd. 1st Light quick LEFT on Horse Pen Creek Rd. 1st Light RIGHT on Drawbridge Rd. LEFT in second Parking Lot (Park in back left corner of lot, fields straight ahead on right) 22 Minutes total travel time from Hanes Park!!!!


Parkland Park

Located on Buchannan Road near the intersection of Brewer Rd. The other end of Brewer crosses Peters Creek Parkway at Parkland High School. Bring $3 as the City charges for light usage.

Miller Park

Located at the corner of Queen and Knollwood Streets near the Ardmore neighborhood. From points east: take Bus 40 to Knollwood exit. Go left on Knollwood. Cross over Stratford and Miller Park will be on the left at Queen St.

WFU Poteat Fields

Located in the heart of the Reynolda campus of Wake Forest University. From Reynolda Road: Turn east on Polo Rd then right into campus. Fields are ahead on left and parking is available below the fields.  From University Parkway: Turn into main campus entrance. You'll pass the law school buildings and parking will be on the right. Fields are up the hill on the right.
